Vision
REAL FAITH is a growing relationship with Jesus Christ that results in increasing obedience and intimacy with God and His Word.
REAL LIFE means that we are a community of authentic relationships where people come, connect, and contribute and are transformed into the fullest expression of who God has created them to be.
Statement of Faith
We adopt the following Statement of Faith, as agreed upon by the National Association of Evangelicals:
We believe...
The Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe...
That there is one God, eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe...
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe...
That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe...
In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe...
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe...
In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We also embrace and adopt the Nicean Creed of AD325 and Chalcedon Creed of AD451.
OUR CORE VALUES
Lordship
Because Jesus is "King of kings and Lord of lords", we believe that wholehearted submission to God's will and His word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth. So then, just as you recieved Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him. (Col 2:6)
Evangelism
Because God's heart is to reach the lost, we seek to build churches primarily through evangelism, not transfer; through birth, not adoption. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Discipleship
Because we are called to make disciples, our primary focus is on ministering to people, not conducting meetings, administering programs or building buildings. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matt 28:19,20)
Leadership Development
Because we are called to raise up spiritual leaders, we prioritize leadership training and deliberately create opportunities for young, potential leaders to develop their gifts. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. (2 Tim 2:2)
Family
Because the family is the foundation and validation of all ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal success. And, because we believe God has called us to be a spiritual family, we reject the ideas of disposable relationships and choose to walk in lifelong covenant, love, respect and unity. Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain... Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. (Psa 127:1,3)
